Princess Day and Frogs, too!

The Knoxville Zoo is hosting Princess Day (and frogs, too!) on Saturday May 15 from 10 am to 2 pm. Children 12 and undr are invited to dress up as princesses and princes to celebrate like royalty at the zoo. They will also receive free admission (if dressed up) with a paid adult admission. A great deal if you don’t have a membership.

The festivities include the opportunity to meet princesses and frogs. There will also be photo opps with the princesses. And just incase your costume needs a little more sparkle, there’s a sparkle station. From having a three year old princess, I can definitely say there’s always room for more sparkle!

The Knoxville Zoo is also sponsoring a contest for a Royal Prize Pack for the big day. One entrant in the contest will win free admission for 6 and a limo ride to the zoo. The limo will pick you up within a 30 mile radius of the zoo and bring you to the Princess Day. At the end of the event, the limo will take you back to the same place where you were picked up.

To enter, just email the following info to aswank@knoxville-zoo.org:

  • Name
  • Age
  • Phone number
  • Email address

Check out their page for more info on contest eligibility, rules and regulations. Good luck!
